Join us for this public luncheon, featuring former U.S. Senator,
Governor of Idaho and Secretary of the Interior, Dirk Kempthorne.
Perhaps no Idahoan has built a more distinguished and varied career in public service than Dirk Kempthorne, who has been elected Boise’s mayor and Idaho’s U.S. senator and governor, and was appointed by President George W. Bush as Secretary of the Interior. Former Secretary Kempthorne will reflect on his career and describe what he views as his major accomplishments as Secretary of the Interior and to analyze the advantages and challenges of four top policymaking positions-Mayor, Senator, Governor, and Cabinet Secretary. During this forum, presented by the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Kempthorne will take questions from the audience.
